The Roncalli International Foundation undertakes to protect the privacy of the personal information of its employees, beneficiaries, donors and other interested parties. We recognize that, to maintain public confidence, we must be transparent and responsible in the management of information that we gather and keep in our files.

As part of our different projects and activities, we often gather and use personal information. Any person from whom we have gathered personal information should expect that this information is carefully protected and used with their consent.

Every employee or administrator undertakes to respect the confidential information that we gather and keep confidential and not describe information about the activities of the Roncalli International Foundation. This policy is effective on the first day the employee is at work.

Personal information is any information that can identify an individual. This includes names, phone numbers, email addresses, pieces of identification, contact information of Canadian organizations, registration numbers, contact information of organizations that benefit from the project, project information, financial information about an organization, etc. All personal information will be treated as sensitive.

To make an online grant application on Roncalli Admission and to allow us to process your application, we need to know your name, address, email and phone number so we can contact you if needed. This allows us to process and follow up on your application while observing the strictest safety procedures.

Access to this data is limited to a group of employees who are responsible for processing online grant applications on Roncalli Admission solely for the performance of their work.

We will only use the information you give us to record, analyse and follow up on your applications and to give an official answer as well as the amount of funding if your project is approved.

During your registration and/or application, you must provide some personal information (such as your name and email address).  You will only be asked for information that is required to complete your application.

When you submit an application on our site, you must provide some personal information, such as your name, address, phone number, email address and information about your current employment. We need this information to process your application and contact you.

By submitting an application, you declare and warrant that the information you have provided in the application is true and accurate and that you understand that it will be used to evaluate your application.

We will keep your personal information confidential at all times. Even if you are no longer doing business with us, we must retain this information for a reasonable amount of time, because, among other things, the law requires it to constitute the proof of past transactions.

This information will never be made public nor sold or transferred to a third party without your consent unless under legal constraint (such as, but not limited to, through legal proceedings, a request for documents, a summons, a request for civil investigation or another similar procedure following an order of a competent tribunal, or in order to comply with the applicable terms and conditions required by a government agency or another regulatory authority, or other legal obligations). Under section 20 of the Act respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector, a third party (subcontractor) may have access to personal information without the consent of the person concerned if the information is needed for the carrying out of their mandate.
