Agent organization
If you are not an organization accredited by the Foundation, it is necessary to have an agent organization for your grant application. Here is the role of an agent organization.
An organization that acts as an agent is a local or Canadian partner duly registered as a charitable or not-for-profit organization. The agent agrees to act as the liaison between the local organization that is seeking funding and the Foundation. In some cases, the agent and the local implementing organization are part of the same organization.
The agent organization agrees to:
- Be involved in the development of the idea, up to and including the application process.
- Transfer the funds granted in the event the project is approved.
- Ensure the successful implementation of the project.
- Ensure that the final report is submitted to the Roncalli International Foundation when the project is completed.
